Halloween Paint Pour!

The second half of the week, we did some paint pouring. It is one of the messiest ways to paint…but SO MUCH FUN! This was part one of our Halloween inspired paint poured canvas. The kids used a black background on a canvas and were given a choice of choosing three other bright Halloween colors. Mixing acrylic paint and a mixture of water and glue to thin the paint, we used a target pour method, pouring one color right on top of the previous one. We tipped our canvases and let the paint make a slippery, spooky start for the second step for the next week’s class!!
